| Sept 12 - 2006 Update - 2005 pension over-contributions | |||||||||
To all VIA Rail Running Trades Members This memo is to update those affected and confirm that the Pension department has advised us to-day that eligible employees will receive their refund of the over contributions made in 2005, following the change in the Pension Plan rules. RBC will mail a cheque this Friday, September 15 to all eligible employees. 171 employees will receive a refund cheque. Please note that the amount that the eligible employee will receive includes interest, calculated until the date of payment (Sept 15). |
